Aviella Aloha's most FAQ'S         Appointment Policy

You will be charged from the start time of your appointment until I am finished regardless of if you are late or not. So be punctual! This is to prevent bumping into following appointments as I schedule more than one client a day.

Q: Where are you located?

A: Aviella Aloha is a mobile beauty consultant that comes to you.  She also facilitates a weekly pop-up shop hosted by the Urban-n-Island Consortium every on Sundays.

Q: ISLAND BRAIDS - How much do you charge?

A: Island Braids is a cash only service. Cost is $5 per braid or $6.50 per cornrow. Braid in Extensions styles are charged by the hour in most cases except at the Island Braids braiding booth inside the Urban-n-Islanad Pop up shops. There Island Braids Extensions, Dreadlocks and Yarn Hair Wraps are available for $15.00 each. Be advised that extensions hair and color selection maybe limited at the pop-up shop. If you plan to stop by the booth in Lahaina on Sunday or at the Queens Mall on the first Sundays a prepaid reservation is required for express service or specific extensions requests. Please call 808-357-3504 before you confirm an appointment on this website.

Q: I can not BOOK ONLINE. Where else can I find you for Island Braids?

A: Island Braids is an on-site service. Visit our Walk up booth at the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center in Kahului every first Sunday accept in August or any other Sunday in Lahaina on Front Street across from the Banyan Tree Park and Pacific Whale Foundation. All other options require an internet reservation, no exceptions.

Q:Do you take credit cards?

A: Island Braids and Extensions are a cash only service. Credit and Debit Cards may be used to Shop Aviella Aloha Maui Diva Clips and Island Scents.

Q: I am in Lahaina or Ka'anapali. Where is your Island Braids Walk up Booth?

A: You can find the Island Braids Walk up Booth across the street from the Banyan Tree in Lahainatown on Front. Street on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sunday each month. Look for the green tent top..

Q: I live in Central Maui. Do you have a Braiding Booth close by?

A: Island Braids is an on-site service. Look for the Island Braids Walk up booth at the Maui Swap Meet on Saturdays in May , June and July from 8 am to 1 pm or at the QKC Maui Made Sundays event the first Sunday of every month excluding August. Aviella Aloha is assisting platform stylist and Educator Ivana Miles at the Bronner Brothers Hair Show in Atlanta, GA.

Q: How long will my Island Braids last?

A: Length of style is determined by length of hair and wave pattern. Island Braids can last up to 2 weeks on thick curly hair. I recommend only 4 days for very fine hair. So the range is 4 - 14 days.

Q: How do I take care of my Island Braids?

A: It's best if you do not shampoo newly installed Island Braids for at least 3 days. Water will make the hair frizzy. However it can be easily managed by placing a bandanna on the head at night to lay the frizzy hairs back down. Hairspray can also be used to help hold the style in place.

Q: Do you do braid parties?

A: Absolutely. Call 808-357-3504 for more information about Birthday parties, salon service parties or corporate events.

Q: Do you take checks?

A: Checks are accepted from insurance companies only for Cranial Prosthesis products and services. Ask about a complimentary Monday morning consultation.
